Ouisi Juice
The Ouisi Juice brand was born from a collaboration with a New Orleans native who envisioned a cold-pressed juice outlet in his historic commercial property in the trendy Algiers Point neighborhood. I was entrusted with bringing this vision to life, with the challenge of creating a brand that balanced commercial scalability, a uniquely local identity, and an elevated, high-status appeal. The target market was health- and trend-conscious, progressive individuals seeking premium products that align with their values and lifestyles.
Project Highlights:
Brand Development: Designed a distinctive brand identity inspired by the origins of fresh ingredients and the founder’s heritage. Drawing from the earthy tones of Algiers Point’s French colonial architecture and surrounding farmland, I crafted a look that diverged from the minimalist aesthetic typical of cold-pressed juice brands, positioning Ouisi Juice as a status symbol in the wellness space.
Logo & Packaging Design: Selected a hand-drawn cursive typeface to evoke the organic and nostalgic spirit of fresh fruit and New Orleans culture. The packaging featured vintage-style bottles that further emphasized the brand’s ties to history and authenticity while appealing to the aesthetic sensibilities of the target audience.
Website Design: Built a streamlined, text-oriented website to provide a user-friendly experience, focusing on seamless ordering and emphasizing the brand’s narrative. The design prioritized functionality while showcasing the authenticity, heritage, and premium positioning of Ouisi Juice.
Ongoing Development: Currently, I am working on the physical store design and creating a suite of print assets to complement the brand’s identity and enhance the customer experience.
Ouisi Juice represents a harmonious blend of history, locality, and modern branding, creating a scalable concept that feels as fresh and inviting as its products, while standing out as a lifestyle brand for those who value health and trend-conscious living.
